The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb revealed the first photo of Paul Giamatti as Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich (AKA The Rhino) early on Saturday. Following that shot, the production took to the streets in Brooklyn and we have some amazing shots from the action featuring Andrew Garfield's Spidey and Giamatti!

In the sequel, opening on May 2, 2014, Peter Parker (Garfield) finds life is busy â€" between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away â€" but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Michael B. Jordan, Octavia Spencer, Melonie Diaz, Ahna O'Reilly, Kevin Durand and Chad Michael Murray, Fruitvale is einner of both the Grand Jury Prize for dramatic feature and the Audience Award for U.S. dramatic film at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. The film follows the true story of Oscar Grant (Jordan), a 22-year-old Bay Area resident who wakes up on the morning of December 31, 2008 and feels something in the air. Not sure what it is, he takes it as a sign to get a head start on his resolutions: being a better son to his mother (Spencer), whose birthday falls on New Year’s Eve, being a better partner to his girlfriend Sophina (Diaz), who he hasn’t been completely honest with as of late, and being a better father to Tatiana (Neal), their beautiful four year-old daughter. Crossing paths with friends, family, and strangers, Oscar starts out well, but as the day goes on, he realizes that change is not going to come easily. His resolve takes a tragic turn, however, when BART officers shoot him in cold blood at the Fruitvale subway stop on New Year’s Day. Oscar’s life and tragic death would shake the Bay Area â€" and the entire nation â€" to its very core.

IFC Films announced today that the company is acquiring North American rights to Scott Coffey's Adult World, which had its world premiere at last month's 2013 Tribeca Film Festival. The film, with a screenplay by Andy Cochran, stars Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, John Cusack, Armando Riesco, Cloris Leachman and Shannon Woodward.

Adult World was produced by Justin Nappi and Kevn Turen of Treehouse Pictures with Joy Gorman and Alex Goldstone of Anonymous Content and Manu Gargi. Executive producers are Mohammed Al Turki, Joel Michaely and Paul Green. IFC Films is planning a day and date theatrical and VOD release.

Adult World stars Emma Roberts as Amy â€" naïve, awkward and anxious to get her poetry career off the ground. Living with her parents in a seemingly bland upstate New York town and desperate for income, she begrudgingly accepts a job at Adult World, the local sex shop. Owned by a frisky elderly couple and staffed by sweet local boy Alex, Amy balances her work amongst the pornography and sex toys by fiercely pursuing a surefire kick start for her success: a mentorship with reclusive star poet Rat Billings (the hilarious John Cusack). As Amy's world melds with that of her co-workers, she slowly learns that inspiration can be found in the most improbable places.

First announced last November, Lionsgate is planning a feature film adaptation of R.J. Palacio's recent bestselling novel, Wonder. Although John August was then said to be in talks to provide the screenplay, Deadline is now reporting that Jack Thorne ("Skins," The Scouting Book for Boys) has taken up the task.

The book, released in February 2012, is officially described as follows:

August (Auggie) Pullman was born with a facial deformity that prevented him from going to a mainstream school?ntil now. He's about to start 5th grade at Beecher Prep, and if you've ever been the new kid then you know how hard that can be. The thing is Auggie's just an ordinary kid, with an extraordinary face. Following a worldwide gross of $ 694.7 million for Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions are ready to move forward with a fifth installment and have signed a deal with Tom Cruise to reprise the role of Ethan Hunt and produce.

Deadline says that both Paramount and Skydance have confirmed the signing but they are not saying who is writing and directing or when the release date may be. "Ghost Protocol" was directed by Brad Bird, who has moved on to directing Tomorrowland for Disney.

Deadline adds that they are hearing Christopher McQuarrie will direct, but that is not confirmed yet. The two just teamed up for Jack Reacher last year. That film is in early talks for a sequel as well.

Box Office Results: Iron Man 3 Dominates with $175.3 Million

The ComingSoon.net Box Office Report has been updated with studio estimates for the weekend. Click here for the full box office estimates of the top 12 films and then check back on Monday for the final figures based on actual box office.

Every once in a while, a juggernaut hits the box office that runs over everything else in theaters, but we've rarely seen anything quite like Marvel Studios' Iron Man 3. That is, unless you count Marvel's The Avengers, which basically did the same thing when it kicked off the summer movie season last year.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Jon Favreau and Sir Ben Kingsley, the third installment co-written and directed by Shane Black (the "Lethal Weapon" movies, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) was off to a good start on Friday when it reported $ 15.6 million from Thursday previews and midnight screenings. Along with the rest of the Friday, it brought in $ 68.3 million, which was below many other big blockbusters releases, but then by Sunday, it had bounced back to report an opening weekend estimate of $ 175.3 million, surpassing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 to score the second highest opening weekend behind The Avengers

Averaged among the 4,253 locations in which the movie was playing, that's a per-theater average of over $ 41,000 per location, which is the third highest ever.

Iron Man 3 continued its international domination as well, essentially doubling its North American opening with another $ 175.9 million in 54 territories with an international total of $ 505 million and a global take of $ 680 million in just 12 days of release. Still, we just want to point something out... North America=1 territory=$ 175.3 million. The rest of the world is 54 territories=$ 175.9 million. Make of that what you will.

IMAX theaters couldn't get enough seats to fill the demand as they reportedly sold out nearly every show on all 326 IMAX screens nationwide to surpass The Avengers' IMAX opening with $ 16.5 million, second only to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises. It added another $ 13 million internationally on 267 IMAX screens to bring its global IMAX total to $ 40.2 million.

Iron Man 3 accounted for nearly 84% of the domestic box office this weekend leaving the rest of the releases fighting over scraps.

Michael Bay's Pain & Gain (Paramount), starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie, took a 62% plunge, dropping to 2nd place with $ 7.6 million and $ 34 million total.

Brian Helgeland's Jackie Robinson biopic 42 (Warner Bros.) took advantage of its potentially older audience by staying in third place with $ 6.2 million (down 42%) bringing its total to $ 78.3 million--impressive considering its reported $ 40 million cost.

Tom Cruise's sci-fi actioner Oblivion (Universal), co-starring Morgan Freeman, also took a nosedive, dropping to 4th place with $ 5.8 million, down nearly 68% from last weekend. It's grossed $ 76 million domestically so it's going to be relying on international to help defray its $ 120 million cost.

DreamWorks Animation's family comedy hit The Croods was the only other movie besides 42 to hold up against Iron Man 3, holding its ground in fifth place with $ 4.2 million and $ 168.7 million total.

Justin Zackham's ensemble comedy The Big Wedding (Lionsgate) took sixth place with $ 3.9 million and has grossed$ 14.3 million so far.

The only other significant thing to note in the Top 10 was that Jeff Nichols' third film Mud, starring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon, expanded into 576 theaters and was able to move up the ranks from its opening outside the Top 10 to seventh place with $ 2.1 million and $ 5.2 million earned in 10 days.

The Top 10 grossed an estimated $ 209.4 million which would have been impressive if Marvel's The Avengers hadn't made nearly that entire amount on its own this weekend last year and then the rest of last year's Top 10 brought in roughly $ 40 million, so basically a great opening weekend for Iron Man 3 was slightly overshadowed by the fact that the box office was still down from last year. We think that in a couple weeks this will change.

As far as limited releases, Millennium Films released two very different movies, the Michael Shannon-headed crime thriller The Iceman and Scott McGehee and David Siegel's domestic drama What Maisie Knew, starring Julianne Moore, Steve Coogan and Alexander Skarsgard. The former brought in $ 93,000 in four theaters, roughly $ 24,000 per location, while the latter did roughly that same amount in its single theater New York release.

Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian's (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin's empire and left their crew with $ 100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.

Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

Jason Bateman is set to lead the voice cast of a mysterious new Walt Disney Animation project, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. Specifics are few, but the trade claims that it will be an animal comedy and will be directed by Tangled's Byron Howard.

Bateman, who this year has already starred in Identity Thief and Disconnect, will next reprise his role as Michael Bluth for Netflix's new "Arrested Development" season. He has previously supplied big screen voice work for the English-language version of Luc Besson's Arthur and the Invisible.

Tangled (co-directed by Nathan Greno) was a surprise hit for the studio, raking in more than $ 590 million worldwide. The studio's next animated feature, Frozen, features the voice talents of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff and hits theaters November 27.

HBO Renews Veep for Third Season

HBO has renewed the comedy series "Veep" for a 10-episode third season, scheduled for 2014.

Created by Armando Iannucci (Oscar nominee for co-writing In the Loop), the show stars Emmy-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Vice President of the United States Selina Meyer. The Emmy-nominated show kicked off its 10-episode second season Sunday, April 14 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO, with other episodes debuting subsequent Sundays at the same time.

The ensemble cast of the show also includes Tony Hale as Gary, Vice President Meyer's right-hand man; Anna Chlumsky as Amy, her chief of staff; Reid Scott as Dan, an ambitious political aide; Matt Walsh as Mike, Vice President Meyer's weathered spokesperson; Timothy C. Simons as Jonah, an enterprising but annoying White House liaison; Sufe Bradshaw as Sue, Vice President Meyer's executive assistant; and Kevin Dunn as Ben, the president's chief of staff.
